Sherri Hill Spring 2016 Collection Favorites

Sherri Hill's new Prom collection is out fo 2016! She never fails to disapoint..I have spent hours drooling over these dresses.

The collection consists of the signature Sherri Hill Floral, gorgeous deep emeralds, royal blues, pastels, and quirky patterns.

Here are some of my favorites, one for each color of the rainbow.

STYLE #50357

Multiple dresses in this collection remind me of Flamanco Dancers and Hispanic Florals. This dress makes me want to salsa. How beautiful would this be paired with an elegent up-do and a red rose. The sleeves on this top are so unique and add elegance to the dress. Out of all of Sherri Hill styles I find this one to be the most flattering because it it hits you in the smallest part of your waist and has a beautiful shape to the skirt. It is perfect if you like to show of your shape up top but are a little hesitant about showing off your lower half. If you want to channel your fierce and sassy persona this dress will definitely do the trick.

STYLE #50474

I dont think i have ever seen a purely orange Sherri Hill dress....let me google it....okay there are a few but they are pretty old. I will post some pictures of them at the end. Orange can become gaudy really fast if not designed properly. I totally think Sherri could do it - so Sherri if you are reading this, there's a challange for you. Anyways, here is a coral dress with a little bit of orange detailing. Again, I see some hispanic flare in the embroidery on the top. I JUST LOVE THESE PATTERNS! It is so unique. I love the style of the top, the only problem is that if you are bustier I do not think this would go well for you, especially if you are at prom..jumping...and dancing...you get the picture. So I would recommend this to my petite ladies out there. This dress is also perfect if you are not crazy about the shape of your lower half. This dress would be great for prom night because the bottom is light and you will be able to move effortlessly.

STYLE #50206

I am not crazy about this pattern, I think it is a little heavy and I have never been a fan of yellow and black. This was my favorite out of all the yellows though. If you have a pattern as heavy and eye catching as this one I think a simple shape is best. I have never seen a top like this on a Sherri Hill dress..I think it is perfect with this pattern and full skirt. The other dresses with this pattern just have a little too much going on. You sould definitely need to wear your hair down with this dress because the chest it really bare but any jewelry would just push this dress over the edge. I love the shape and the top but I do not think many people could pull of this pattern.

STYLE #11329

*wipes drool off the corner of my mouth* OK WOW. One of my favorites from the whole collection. Broad shoulder ladies this is a dress for you, the neckline will flatter your shoulders and make you look like an egyptain emerald goddess. The waist band perfectly exentuates the wait providing the perfect hourglass figure. It is elegant and classy with just a touch of sexy due to the slit down the center. Now here is a dress if you wanna show of your curves all around. I would reccommend some double stick tape for the top if you are bustier. I am a sucker for halter tops and I would buy this in a heartbeat for prom. Allthough it is a little heavier of a fabric the dress should not leave you totally immobile. if the train is a problem you could always see about adding a french bussle which most seamstresses could do and probably for pretty cheap. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS.

STYLE #50120

This is such a sporty and unique dress. It kind of reminds me of a wetsuit. But in a good way. This style can be hard to pull off, you really need to make sure it fits you perfectly. I wore a style similar to this for a pageant over the summer and is squeezed me in just a little too much around the waist and resulted in me looking the spongebob square pants. Make sure the skirt just sits on your waist. The top is flattering on almost everyone, and the detailed cutouts take it from boring to just enough. This would be so cute with those mettalic tattoos; a few silver ones on an arm. supah tumblr.

STYLE #50482

I love how classic this dress is but the Sherri Hill floral makes sure it is still fun and flirty. What Sherri Hill does best. The classic sweetheart neck line with the flower embellishment is elegent and very flattering on most. I would not reccomend it you are super busty because if you are dancing and jumping you will definetely want something to hold you in. Also, tanner skin will work best with this dress as the pattern may wash out anyone with very fair skin. I reccomend a spray tan! I have never gotten a machine spray tan...I do not know if I trust those..but organic spray tans done by a beautician have never failed me and they look the best. Some killer purple pumps would add an element of fun to this gorgeous dress.

STYLE #50194

THIS TOP. I AM OBSESSED. I would buy the top separately and wear it with a skirt and a jean jacket *Insert heart eyes emoji* I also think this style skirt is my favorite Sherri Hill style. It is super flattering and it has pockets and who doesn't love pockets. Again, like I pointed out with the other two piece, you need to make sure the waist fits you perfectly. I want this dress for my prom. It is simple and elegent but has a spin because it is two piece. Flirty and fun. A perfect dress for girls with broad shoulders but would also work if you had a petite upper half as well. I can just see myself twirling the night away in this dress on Prom Night.

STYLE #50163

It's simple, It's elegent, It's classy with a little sexy but not trashy. Does not get much better than this folks. You can't go wrong with a simple black dress. Busty girls, this is an ideal dress for you. You can still show off some cleavage but the mesh will assure you that you will not loose your girls. The cut outs on the side of the dress will help to give the illsuion of a skinnier waist. The dress has a nice relaxed fit at the bottom keeping the shape simple and flattering. If you are not one for flashy out of the box prom dresses this would be one for you.

STYLE #50151

Last, but certainly not least my favorite dress in the whole collection. This top makes me tear up a little bit. The hispanic pattern and the deep plunge is so fun and elegant. Then the open back just makes it that much better. One of my favorite components of this dress is the peek-a-boo lace at the slit. I have never seen that before and I think is just adds more uniqueness to the dress. It is an ultimate prom dress because you can dance the night away without being restricted by an heavy skirt, the slit also adds mobility. This would be so fun with some red pumps peeking out of the white skirt. The one thing that concerns me was that a girl at a pageant I did this past weekend has one of the dresses with this hispanic embroidery and close up id did not look like it did in the photos. I definitely would reccomend taking a good look at the dress before you splurge. Sherri Hill dresses are beautiful and quality dresses, but I was just a little taken aback by the difference from the photo and the actual dress. BUT, overall Sherri Hill killed it this year. I have never wanted so many prom dresses. I wish I had 100 proms to go to. I will just become a vampire and stay 18 forever.

Thanks for reading :)

P.S. really old orange sherri hill dresses. ENJOY
